The project titled „Philological analysis of Ludwik Fleck’s Philosophical works and its translations into Polish, English and German” was realized from April 2013 to September 2016 in cooperation between „Project Science. A Foundation for Promoting Polish Science” (http://projekt-nauka.com/) and Ludwik Fleck Zentrum (http://www.ludwikfleck.ethz.ch/) unit of the Collegium Helveticum at Eidgenössische Technische Hochschulen Zürich (ETHZ).
Principal Investigator: doctor Paweł Jarnicki, member of the Board of the Project Science Foundation (Wrocław, Poland).
Leading Foreign Partner: 01.04.2013 – 17.07.2014 Professor Johannes Fehr, the Director of Ludwik Fleck Zentrum (Zürich, Switzerland). From 01.01.2015 to 31.03.2016 doctor Rainer Egloff, an associated researcher with Ludwik Fleck Zentrum (Zürich, Switzerland).
The main objective of the project was to develop philological analysis of Ludwik Fleck’s philosophical works in three languages (Polish, English and German) and suggest changes in the existing translations of these works. Other objective was to provide a list of Fleck’s terms and a trilingual glossary of Fleck’s terms, research on Fleck’s reception in Polish and English and description of the way the translations and editions influenced reception.
